Shakespeare said: To be or not to be, that is the question. Will SNAP be or not be? Will SNAP be a faint memory of the past survived by a handmade quilt of faces of victims preserved by mothballs in Grandma's cedar chest in the attic? Will SNAP fade like the Inquisition? Perhaps SNAP can learn from the Jesuits on how to survive after a global Suppression from the hands of Popes and Kings and governments! The reason I am posting this is to show THE PLAN for WORLD DOMINATION of Opus Dei and how they do that through various powerful persons - but never never under the obvious name or banner of Opus Dei. Opus Dei never implicate its name or itself in politics and public agencies. They always work underground through secret members or "Cooperators" or "friends" who are already brainwashed by Opus Dei's WORLD DOMINATION agendas.
For example, their subtle cunning snake strategy was recently demonstrated in the Voice of the Faithful's national convention through Fr. Richard McBrien, one of the giant American theologians, see October 22, 2007 post. And now they are proceeding with their World Domination agenda by putting an Octopus Dei tentacle leash on the Jesuits. They are already doing that to the good Jesuit servants of the poor like Jon Sobrino
and now they are doing it to the Jesuits in Rome and guess who will take care of that "enslavery"...... Cardinal Bertone, a secret member of Opus Dei!
So, as proven in Cardinal Bertone's rebuking remarks against clergy abuse victims (therefore against SNAP), we already know what he is capable of and what to expect he'll do to the poor Jesuits who suffered through a quarter of a century of Suppression. The victims of clergy sexual abuse also suffered for a quarter of century of Suppression from John Paul II......but the Jesuits have suffered 4 times that because it took a century to gather themselves back in other parts of the world (which shows the relevance of the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius) All their Jesuit schools, properties and houses were confiscated by the Vatican and they were literally left with nothing, no wealth, no insurance, NADA! It was total annihilation from the Pope to whom they pledged obedience! ...... But the Jesuits' Suppression today is in another subtle form because now will suffer even much more under the Opus Dei. It is amazing how evil mutates in every century!
And the real question is: The Jesuits survived but will (or how will) SNAP survive? The Jesuits survived the Suppression of Popes and Kings in the 18th century and resurrected to be the largest religious group in the 21 century (Opus Dei is so jealous of them that they are trying hard to catch up by ordaining as many priests as possible!) Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone praised the US Catholic hierarchy's response to sex abuse scandal while scorning those who turned it into a business opportunity.

A particularly candid Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone spoke yesterday afternoon about the situation surrounding the sex abuse scandal in the United States. The Church’s second in command praised the Church’s response and reserved some critical words for those who have seized on the scandal as an opportunity for profit.
“The Church in the US has suffered deeply, has responded with dignity, and invites everyone to truly commit to a reversal of this situation,” said Bertone.
“While I was still at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and then as the Archbishop of Genoa, I accompanied the American Church through this trial, this period, and I repeat that they faced this trial with dignity and courage.” (What a loser! "Dignity and courage"?, how about "OBSTRUCTION of JUSTICE and COVER-UP of the most heinous crime against American children in the 20th century!)
However, the Cardinal was particularly upset with those who have turned the situation into a means of making a profit. “The business aspect, the financial aspect, has nothing to do with cleaning up the reality of the situation. It is an unbearable business that has been created here in the United States…it’s unbearable and also disgraceful.”
The Cardinal also seemed to speak with some indignation about the way that the Church has been singled out as a target. He said that, “the proportion of priests who are involved in this scandal is very small given that there are 44,000 priests in the United States.”
“I could only hope that the other social agencies would have the same courage to face this problem as the Roman Catholic Church did.”
The Secretary of State also showed that he was concerned that a comprehensive solution is provided to the sex abuse problem and continued to point out how the most analysis of the Church’s response is slanted.
“I ask if the other organizations have provided financial compensation for the victims…have they taken care of the victims and those who have been guilty? We cannot abandon the victims or dismiss the guilty as lost.”

Every time an insensitive church bureaucrat makes hurtful public comments like this, it rubs more salt into the already deep and still fresh wounds of American Catholics and sex abuse victims.
Tens of thousands of brave men and women still suffer today because of horrific abuse as kids by priests and callous betrayal by bishops. Several hundred of them are exposing predators, protecting kids and seeking justice. By their courage, they are doing a service to the church. They deserve compassion and praise, not vilification. Their decisive, admirable efforts to alert parents about pedophile priests deserve recognition, not rebuke.
The Catholic church hierarchy has not been 'singled out' by anyone. It is, however, an institution with the most widely documented history of repeatedly protecting predators, shunning victims, deceiving parishioners, stonewalling prosecutors, and stiff-arming journalists, all so that the reputations of top church officials could be safeguarded.
Vatican officials have done virtually nothing to protect the vulnerable. We hope, however, that some day soon they'll at least stop re-victimizing the wounded. (That means, you, Cardinal Bertone! You and Benedict XVI Cardinal Ratzinger and Joaquin Navarro-Valls - you are the foremost Vatican officials who did NOTHING for clergy abuse victims as you were too busy cooking up the sainthood of Josemaria at the saint-factory of the Vatican! ROMA, September 24, 2007 – In a few days, "L'Osservatore Romano" will have a new director. But there's news at "La Civiltà Cattolica," too.
The news is that the Vatican secretariat of state, since cardinal Tarcisio Bertone became its head, has once again taken up much more direct management of what is printed in "La Civiltà Cattolica," after a period during which its control was nothing more than a formality.
"La Civiltà Cattolica" is, in fact, a very special magazine, ever since it was founded in 1850 at the behest of Pius IX.
It is produced by an "assembly of writers," all Jesuits, who live in community together in Rome. And every one of its issues, before being printed, passes through inspection by the Vatican authorities, page by page.
It is published on the first and third Saturday of each month. When the drafts for a new issue are ready, twelve copies are brought to the Vatican: one for the pope, one for the secretary of state, and the rest for the curia offices dedicated to the subject matter of the various articles.
On the Monday before the first and third Saturday of each month, the director of "La Civiltà Cattolica" goes to the Vatican. And he is given guidelines on the drafts under examination, divided into three categories.
The "grade A" guidelines are not discussed. They are binding orders. For example: this article is to be suppressed, and to this other will be added this conclusion, this paragraph will be rewritten as follows.
The "grade B" guidelines are discussed during that meeting, and modifications are agreed upon right then and there.
The "grade C" guidelines are left to the judgment of the magazine's director, who is free to arrive at his own decision.
"La Civiltà Cattolica" is not, therefore, an official organ of the Holy See. But it is known that what it publishes "is not in disagreement with the directives of the Holy See on the various topics it examines." And this is enough to certify its importance and to make it obligatory reading for anyone who wants to study the viewpoints of the Catholic Church...
With Pope John Paul II and with Casaroli as secretary of state, the draft revision meetings with the director of "La Civiltà Cattolica" continued to be held by the heads of internal and external affairs for the Church, who, from 1979 to 1988, were Eduardo Martínez Somalo and Achille Silvestrini.
But since April of 2005 there's been a new pope, Benedict XVI, and since September of 2006 a new secretary of state, cardinal Bertone. And the latter has returned to taking an active, personal interest in what is written in "La Civiltà Cattolica." He does not only read the drafts of the articles, in some cases scrapping or modifying them. Sometimes he comes to the point of ordering that an article be written about a specific topic, and providing the appropriate documentation.
In recent months he has blocked at least two articles. One dealt with the situation of the Church in China: Bertone ordered that it not be printed, to prevent it from interfering with the letter on the same topic that Benedict XVI was preparing to publish.
